Joyce B. Randall, 81, passed away peacefully September 16th, 2020 in the comfort of her home with her daughter by her side.

Joyce was born February 13th, 1939 to William S. Barnett and Callie Doyle Barnett in Crew, VA. She was the youngest of eight children and was the last of her siblings to pass. She was married for 27 years to Elzy P. Randall who passed away in 1988. Left to cherish her memory is her only child, Teresa and her partner Kenny who Joyce loved dearly and thought of as a son; many nieces and nephews and one special nephew, Lee, who was more a brother because they were so close in age.

Joyce was a mother in every sense of the word and a homemaker. She loved decorating her house with treasures found at yard sales and thrift stores and had QVC on speed dial. Joyce loved Pomeranian's and owned many over the years and leaves two behind, “Peppy” and “Sophia”. She loved planting flowers and making her yard beautiful. She was a good neighbor and friend and also from a time when you did not leave the house unless your hair, nails, makeup clothes looked perfect. She was defiantly a lady. As per Joyce’s wishes there will be no formal service and her ashes will be spread on Chesapeake Beach, where her and her daughter spent many a sunny day together. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to your local food bank, SPCA, cancer research or your favorite charity.

Thank you for being the kind sweet Mother I never had. Thank you for all our talks you were always in my corner. I always will love you and will take care of Teresa just like I promised, you will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

Momma loved you so much!! She would always ask How's MY Kenny? Your love of the Lord warmed her heart and she would smile so brightly whenever you lead us in prayer. I know your loss runs deep we get through this together. Death can not rob you of her love that surrounds you.

After the tears have dried and the goodbyes have been said, all we have to hold onto are the happy memories that we’ve shared with our loved ones who have passed, this is what keeps them alive in our hearts and in our minds, and they will continue to live on, through us. Our condolences. Marieluise & Lee

Oh Momma im into my second day of not having you on this earth.I still am having a hard time wrapping my head aroiund the hand we were dealt. One thing is for sure we handled it together whatever they threw at us.We just kept going day after day, until it was time for you to take another path. On your hardest days i would remind you, that me you and Jesus got this. I told you i loved you hundreds of times kissed you face held your hand.Reminded you, that you were home surrounded by love. That love is still there Momma it always will be even death can not rob us of it . I will see you everywhere because your love still surrounds me.
