Gordon Patrick Edge Jr., age 39, of Norfolk, Virginia passed away February 4, 2021. Pat was born on January 19, 1982 in North Carolina to Gordon and Sallie Edge.

He is survived by his mother, Sallie Edge; two sisters: Kristen and Hillary; aunt, Cassie Edwards; cousn, Britney Edwards; girlfriend Janean Neptune; several nieces, nephews; extended family, and great friends. Pat was predeceased by his father, Gordon Patrick Edge Sr. and his brother, Luther Paul Sumner III.

Pat will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was well known for his infectious smile, compassionate spirit, and amazingly kind heart. He loved people, all people, and they genuinely loved him back.

My Patrick I am lost for words but then again screaming out loud I LOVE YOU My love child The one with the big heart and that purasinghe smile always made somebody feel like everything was OK in the world He left your family that you were raised with came home to us my sweet boy for short 1year I got to put my hands around your neck again and hug you and the kids all got to meet their Uncle Pat and adore you nothing that I didn't know already the loving big hearted big guy you Have always been YOU touched all of our hearts my heart has another big crack in it it will never heal but I love you and I will miss you Terribly I'm sorry we let you down out here in this vicious world until I meet you again You And Wayne behave RIP
